An incredibly lightweight and highly versatile all-around touring ski designed for women drawn to alpine touring, the Atomic Backland 86 W SL is built with ultra-light SL fiberglass, Ultra Light Woodcore construction and a carbon spine to reduce overall weight for efficient climbing uphill. The result of this combination of materials is a super lightweight ski that excels in all aspects of off-piste skiing. The overall weight of this ski is between the Backland UL and the regular Backland skis. Specially shaped underfoot to allow easier movement when climbing, especially on long traverses, the All Mountain Rocker profile and HRZN Tech in the tip help the ski float in fresh snow. The notch cut into the tips allows for a quick transition from Atomic's Pre-Fit skins.
