For young racers moving up the ranks, the Atomic Icon 12 binding has a DIN scale of 4 to 12. The TÜV-certified Icon 12 is based on the same technology as an elite-level World Cup binding, but with weight and performance levels tailored for youngsters competing primarily in slalom and giant slalom. Centralized power transfer in the form of a race mount position under the boot and a wide platform give kids full control of their skis through the gates, while a race pedal allows the sole of the boot to rest directly on the AFD plate for powerful energy transfer to their skis.
