Locking Brakes – Stronger, more reliable brake lever construction improves locking and prevents disengagement.
Tour Mode
Hike and Walk Switch – Toe lever switches between hike and ski mode.
Double Height Climbing Aid – High option is now 4mm higher.
Accessing the tip for hiking – 1. Pull the block between the tip wings to open the technical arms. 2. Press the front lever to widen the arms for entry. 3. Pull the lever to lock the arms securely for snow removal.
Preparing the heel for hiking – Pull up on the brake pad and secure the brake in the “up” position by pressing down on the pad.
Boot Compatibility
Multi-Norm (MN) Certified – Compatible with all types of adult boot soles including ISO 5355 Alpine, ISO 9523 Touring, WTR (Walk to Ride) and GripWalk.
Requires boots with full heel and toe cleats – Not compatible with boots like the Dynafit Hoji Pro Tour and TLT, Atomic Backland, Salomon X-Alp, and Arc'teryx Procline, among others. These boots have shortened or no cleats and will not accommodate Shift in downhill mode.
Tech Toe Caps required for use in uphill (touring) mode
