The Blizzard Black Pearl 88 skis with 2024 bindings are an all-terrain combination. At 88 millimeters underfoot, it's very quick from edge to edge, thanks in part to positive camber underfoot. The Black Pearl 88 uses a rocker-camber-rocker profile which gives the ski exceptional versatility in a myriad of snow conditions. Raising the tips early helps the front of the ski stay upright in choppy water while providing just enough flotation to get by when the snow gets soft. Camber under the boot helps the ski grip during cut turns on the piste, and a near-flat tail provides the power needed to complete cut turns across the full radius of the turn. Blizzard uses TrueBlend wood core technology with vertically laminated wood of varying density in the core to create a ski that flexes more firmly underfoot and softer toward the ends of the ski. Titanal metal and unidirectional carbon laminates in the tip and tail keep this ski calm in difficult snow conditions and at high speeds. This ski is a little stiffer and will allow the rider to exploit its full potential.
