Introduced in 1970 as the Renntiger, no other Völkl stands for performance and success like the Racetiger. The Racetiger SL proves itself on slalom circuits and on general pistes in tight turns and wherever you need lightning-fast edge changes, responsiveness and consistently superlative glide. The Racetiger SL is equipped with a custom carbon front. The custom carbon fibres allow the ski to be adapted exactly to the intended use. The strength and alignment of the fibres absorb the force you have to apply and the energy that builds up in exactly the right places, which means an agile reaction of the tip with precise response the moment you initiate a turn. The SL can be steered into the tightest turns with less power, but without any loss of precision and control.
Its performance is due to a short and flat rocker and especially to its geometry in the tip area. A narrow waist offers very dynamic and responsive steering with very precise edge changes.
