The Atomic Backland 86 SL is an incredibly light ski, very versatile and designed for alpine touring. It's a wider ski built with ultralight SL fiberglass, Ultra-Light Woodcore construction and a carbon backbone to reduce overall weight for efficient climbing. The result of this combination of materials is a ski that is super light, yet extremely soft and stable on the descent. The All Mountain Rocker profile and HRZN Tech in the tip allow the ski to float in fresh snow and load through steep snow with less tip deflection. And the notch cut into the tips allows for a quick transition from pre-fitted Atomic skins.
