Alex Hall's skiing style is imbued with explosive energy. Having spent his summers since his youth on Mount Hood in the Pacific Ring of Fire, the pure energy of the molten Earth has influenced Alex's creative direction and athleticism. This ski celebrates Alex's character, where an appreciation for simplicity gives way to raw dynamism; whether it's a crazy run at the X Games or the red-hot magma currents ripping through the Earth's crust. The Studio 1 is a premier freestyle ski, designed specifically for park enthusiasts. This twin-tip ski is the result of a collaboration between our renowned athletes and expert engineers, delivering precision performance with effortless style. The Studio 1 is perfect for those who won't settle for anything less than the "perfect shot" or flawless trick execution. It features a poplar and ash core with carbon stringers, delivering the ideal balance of lightweight agility and stiff power. A carbon rubber pad under the binding area provides durability on heavy landings, and its symmetrical shape allows for smooth switch skiing. Plus, the 7mm XL sidewall provides exceptional edge hold and protects the wood core. Choose the Studio 1 for unmatched performance and style in the park.

FEATURES

  • Symmetrical Twin A symmetrical twin-tip shape, subtle tip and tail rocker and pronounced camber provide riders with optimal precision and edge hold.
  • Poplar Core Poplar is a light-colored, medium-weight, durable softwood with excellent flexibility and vibration absorption. It enhances performance by providing impressive pop, buttering, and stability. Poplar ensures that the skis provide exceptional grip and torsional stability on the descent and in the park. Lightweight and stable skis thanks to 8 to 12 unidirectional carbon strips on each side of the wood core. These are seamlessly woven into the fiberglass, adding stability to the ski without adding bulk. Get the benefits of strength and stiffness along the entire length of your skis with minimal weight penalty.
  • Carbon and Rubber Pad A 600mm long and 15mm wide carbon and rubber insert adds strength where it matters most. Not only does it protect the wood core from harsh impacts, it adds stability and absorbs vibrations under your boots, so hard landings are more enjoyable for both you and your skis.
  • Recycled Materials We work closely with our production partners to eliminate material waste. We blend scraps of base, sidewall, and topsheet materials into the raw material used for production, reducing carbon emissions while maintaining the same level of quality and sustainability.
  • Locally Sourced Materials To reduce the impact of our production supply chain, we strive to source materials from European companies located near our factories. Reduce the distance, reduce the emissions, reduce the impact. 100% Renewable Energy Factory Our skis are manufactured in a state-of-the-art factory powered entirely by renewable electricity and heated by biomass energy. By eliminating the use of petroleum, our production process reduces millions of kilograms of CO2 emissions each year. Environmentally friendly performance on every run.
  • 2.5mm XL Edges A ski's edges are critical to its performance and handling. Our skis are made with XL edges that are 25% wider than the industry average.
