The narrowest Blaze model (86 mm waist width) is available in four lengths and offers an ideal combination of smoothness and low weight. In addition to its proven 3D Radius Sidecut, the Blaze 86 features a wood core that runs the entire length of the ski, from tip to tail. This construction not only reduces weight and increases the ski's liveliness, but also eliminates the need for plastic inserts – a modest but positive environmental benefit. Thanks to suspension elements integrated into the contours of the tip and tail, this model is able to cope with adverse wind-blown snow conditions. The elastic rubber material applied to the tip and tail acts as a shock absorber and provides increased resistance to disturbances and optimized flotation. The Blaze series is primarily designed for short, fast turns. However, its three different curvature radii, combined in particular with the hybrid multi-layer wood core extending from tip to tail, are suitable for all types of skiing and are suitable for all uses, even the most ambitious.
