The Ranger 68 is an affordable metal-edged, waxless touring ski that's narrow enough to ski on paved trails, but wide enough to blaze new trails in the wilderness. The Ranger can easily tackle deep snow and ice, even when carrying heavier loads. Ideal for hardcore skiers who need to go where no one else wants to go. The Ranger 68 is identical in every way to the Alpina Discovery touring ski made at the same factory - except for the Ranger's clear fiberglass top sheet, which exposes the natural wood grain of its poplar wood core in a way reminiscent of solid wood skis. handmade in Norway over 40 years ago.
